Pearl R. Oliver, age 92 of Lynchburg, Virginia passed away Friday, May 18, 2012 at Summit House in Lynchburg. Pearl had lived in West Branch for most of her life before moving to Virginia. She had worked for Trio Council on Aging and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in West Branch. She was also member of the Eagles and Rebekah Lodge both of West Branch.

Pearl is survived by her daughter, Mildred (Glenn) Adair-Stantiford of Lynchburg, her step-daughters Joyce Ware of Davison and Dene Craft of Mt. Morris, step-sons Junior (Gerry) Oliver of West Branch and Alvin Oliver of Flint, her grandson, Randy Rau of Fayetteville, NC and many nieces, nephews and step-grandchildren.

Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Tuesday, May 22, 2012 from 2-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Rev. Lisa Cook will officiate with burial following at Brookside Cemetery, West Branch.
